So, I've been using my Clearblue Easy Monitor and so far had nothing but Low. Today I got my first High reading! And also, I think I have genuine EWCM! It was clear, slippery and stretched at least 1 inch. I wonder if O is around the corner? I sure hope so.
I got a reasonably dark OPK, but I did the test around 7:45PM. I'm excited and hopeful that I'll have a reasonable length cycle (like under 42 days) and will hopefully O again. If that is the case the CBEFM will definitely help with this. I just need to get another box of test sticks for the next cycle.
My temps are a little on the high side for pre-O, but still below 98 so that is good. My back started to ache again last night, but almost in a different way and I can't figure out why.
We went to see The Last Airbender last night, and although I was really excited to see it, I just couldn't keep my eyes open through it. I had to fight sleep off but at the very end I gave in. It wasn't that bad of a movie, I was just so tired. And I'm not sure why. I think it has a lot to do with a recent med change my doctor made. He wants me to take some meds during lunch, and I haven't done that in soooo long so I forget often. Hopefully I can start to remember next week because I think it is affecting more than my energy. My mood seems to be slightly less stable too, but I'm using coping skills to manage :D

Fertility is life giving, but too much of a good thing has caused an exponential population growth that is unsustainable to humanity. Now we have almost 7 BILLION people, and 11 million per year die from lack of food. 1 in 5 US people goto bed hungry each day! 2 billion are malnourished. We will add up to 9 billion by 2020, how will we survive this tidal wave?
According to the National Academy of Sciences, and Prof Fenner ( small pox), HUMANITY WILL BECOME EXTINCT WITHIN 100-200 YEARS) due to depletion of natural resources within that period.
The only way to stop this catastrophe is to educate on family planning, and not have more than 1 or 2 children per new families, and become austere, for the planet’s resources are depleting faster than they can be produced.
The National Academy of Sciences also reports that at our rate of consumption, ALL MINING WILL BE DEPLETED by the end of the century.
Coward G Kaplan---I do understand that there is over-population in our world and country right now. As a social worker, I work closely with those in my community who are starving, attempting to assist them. I KNOW how difficult this is.
I do disagree though that the "only" way to stop this potential catastrophe is through family planning. There could be a lot less special interests catering by our Federal government to the oil companies, the regulation of farming (they pay people NOT to plant or to plant certain products!), etc. We should be putting more money into finding alternative fuel solutions than fossil fuels, sustainable ones. This is a diverse and complex issue that WILL NOT have a single solution.
IF you bothered to read ANY of my blog, you would know that I have ZERO children now, so I think that I would fit under your category of "allowed" number of children. Are you suggesting that those of us without children have to forfeit that right because of others who CHOOSE to have more?
Also, what are you doing to advocate for other methods of improving population or food resources? Have you worked closely with an indigent population.
Again, I understand your opinion, but I would ask you to think real hard and closely before you make such an antagonistic and angry comment on an Infertile woman's blog again. Please get a f***ing clue!
